Danielle Obolevitch

Danielle was born in Miami, FL, and raised by Russian and Ukrainian parents. She spent her first five years in Russia before moving back to Florida, where she played USTA tennis competitively throughout the rest of her childhood. She attended Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, where she helped lead the girls' varsity tennis team to state championships, and graduated Cum Laude before attending the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

At the University of Pennsylvania, she was involved in mentorship through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, consulted students who were applying to universities through her role at CollegeVine, wrote for an art publication, interned for an art consulting firm, and was the co-captain of the Club Tennis team.

She took a gap year during COVID to return to Miami and help out her family business at Marky's, where she rotated across departments—from the warehouse and shipping to processing, sales, and marketing—before strategizing and leading the redesign of the DTC website markys.com.

Upon graduating, she worked in management consulting at Oliver Wyman in New York City, specifically on performance transformation in the telecommunications space, for a year and a half. After leaving Oliver Wyman, she returned to Marky's, where she is the current Strategy and Business Development Manager.

Her role involves a little bit of everything, but she is primarily focused on moving the brand forward with a unified identity, whether it be through rethinking the design of caviar labels, planning for a new product launch, or educating consumers on caviar and Marky's own aquafarm, Sturgeon Aquafarms, in Bascom, FL.

She splits her time between New York City and Miami and enjoys spending time with family, frequenting art galleries, playing tennis, and eating good food.
