Getting to the Venue

Getting There

Located just 3 kilometers from Barcelona’s historic city center, Fira Gran Via is ideally situated in a newly redeveloped business district. The expansive and modern venue is conveniently linked by the local public transport network to both the metropolitan downtown and nearby El Prat International Airport (12 km).

From the Airport

  • The airport metro can be taken at the two airport terminals, T1 and T2. The station for Fira de Barcelona is called Fira.
  • Bus 46 stops at the two terminals of the airport. The nearest stop to the Gran Via venue is Plaça Europa (500 meters).
  • The Taxi pickup is located just outside the airport, look for the black and yellow official taxis. The route from the airport to Fira de Barcelona Gran Via will cost you approximately 27€.

From the Sants Train Station

If you arrive to Barcelona with the AVE or any other train, you have several options:

  • You can take bus 109 towards Passeig de la Zona Franca. Get off at the Plaza Espanya stop and there you can take any line from the tram to the Europe Fira station.
  • In the same station you take the L5 metro line to the Collblanc station and at that station you change to the L9 metro line and get off at the Fira station.

To Access Fira Gran Via by Metro

Line 9 SUD runs from the airport to Fira Gran Via, and into the city of Barcelona.

It connects with three other major Metro lines, so nearly every area of the city has a simple way to get to Fira Gran Via.

Parking Facilities

The venue is also equipped with underground car park facilities (for vehicles at or below 2.05m in height) along its perimeter. During the event the following car parks will be open:

  • Parking A
  • Parking B

All Parking Lots will be open starting at 7:30 during exposition days (23 April – 25 April)
